Airplay Analysis: Sam Smith advances to No.1 as Pink's reign ends after five weeks at summit
Pink's five-week reign atop the radio airplay chart is over, with What About Us paying the price for a sudden 18.77% dip in audience from 86.56m to 70.31m despite increasing plays a further 0.51% from 6,283 to a best-yet 6,315. The source of its slide – which sees it slip to No.2 – is Radio 2, where support dwindled from 11 plays to three, with a huge 15.62m loss in audience as a direct result.
