  Event and Festivals Sustainability Management

Bucks graduates are shaping the sustainability agenda for the events and festival industry and you can be a part of it. This degree prepares you with skills and knowledge required to work within the event and festival industry. Delivery of this degree comes from lecturers that have extensive industry and academic experience, enabling you to integrate theory with practice thus further enhancing your employability.

The programme is forward-looking and will remain responsive to the ongoing changes taking place in the event and festival industry. Linking theory with practice is an important aspect of this course. Every other year we hold an international safety conference for industry professionals and much of their work is included when reviewing the course. Your feedback on the course is encouraged and changes are made where needed.

In the second year of the study you will finish at Easter to undertake a placement. Former students have undertaken this in Africa, Asia and Europe.

Programme aims:

  • an opportunity to work on live projects, with partners such as A Greener Festival and Roskilde Denmark, Notting Hill Carnival and Glastonbury Music Festival
