Music Business, Branding and Public Relations

This innovative course, developed in close consultation with the industry, has been designed to equip students with the management and marketing skills required to take on the challenges of working in this diverse and exciting employment sector. Solid business, management and marketing skills are underpinned with a detailed understanding of the unique nature of dealing with recording artists and music and entertainment 'product' 

This programme has been designed to give students a broad overview of a wide range of music and entertainment industry activity. Students undertaking the programme can benefit from:

  • The chance to work with the university's in house music label, MC9 Music Ltd
  • The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) recognition (leading to credit exemption from certain components of postgraduate study)
