Calvin Harris takes Spotify Song of the Summer title
Spotify has revealed its most streamed tracks of the summer, with Calvin Harris’ seasonally-titled Summer topping the list globally.
Summer reached almost 160 million streams over the last three months, beating Ariana Grande’s Problem, featuring Iggy Azalea and Rude, by Magic! in worldwide streams.
Angela Watts, VP communications at Spotify, said: “It’s fitting to have Summer by Calvin Harris as the soundtrack to the season around the world. It’s a perfect party anthem and worthy of taking the streaming crown.”
