Elton John’s first greatest hits album in a decade is set for “substantial” sales as it launches with an ITV special, Universal Music Catalogues co-MD Richard Hinkley has told Music Week.

“We’ve got very high hopes,” he said. “We see this record as one we can sustain through to Christmas and then into next year as an essential part of the catalogue.”
