HMV has closed its market share gap with Amazon by 2.5% as the High Street shows a resurgence within the physical entertainment market.
That's according to the latest figures from Kantar Worldpanel for the 12 weeks to September 27. HMV was the strongest performer, driven by successful multi-buy campaigns across both video and music, gaining 1.3% market share year-on-year. Game and Argos also saw increases of 1.1% and 1%, respectively.
