Rhapsody and Napster hit 2.5m paying subscribers, up 60% YoY

Rhapsody and Napster now have more than 2.5 million paid subscribers to its music streaming service globally, boasting a 60% increase year-on-year.

The growth is fueled by a number of partnerships with wireless providers, auto manufacturers and the launch of new internet radio products.

Rhapsody and Napster members are now listening to more than five million hours of music per week globally.
