Spotify offering 50% off Premium subscriptions to Capital One customers

Spotify is offering Capital One customers a whopping 50% off of its Premium service when they pay with a Quicksilver or QuicksilverOne card.

The special discount will run through until April 30, 2018, when the subscription fee will return to the standard £9.99 rate. The deal also offers users 50% back when they buy Spotify Premium for Students and Spotify Premium for Family with their Quicksilver card. Capital One customers will receive the reward in the form of a Capital One statement credit.

Furthermore, Capital One customers who have never before used Spotify’s premium tier will be able to sign up with an eligible Capital One card by June 15 to receive a three-month free trial. They will then be signed up for Spotify Premium at a regular subscription rate.

“We aim to provide our listeners with an exceptional music experience that connects them to the music and artists they love," said Nick Mehra, head of direct subscriber and regional partnerships for Spotify. “With great partners like Capital One, we can create unique ways to give the millions of Capital One customers in the US the chance to curate the soundtrack to their lives with Spotify Premium."

"We know our customers are passionate about the music they listen to and the rewards they earn. We like to meet our customers where they already are, and that's why we are excited to partner with Spotify, an industry leader in the music space. This is an unique opportunity to give our customers valuable benefits,” said Lauren Liss, digital partnerships lead, U.S. card at Capital One. "We are always looking for ways to reward our customers through effortless experiences, and this partnership is a great example.”
