Handle Recruitment is searching for a Business Development Manager for this leading global Music and Entertainment Company who help brands navigate the music world and provide them with creative and commercial partnership solutions.

You will be responsible for maximising all commercial opportunities by identifying new business opportunities, expanding the team’s network of relationships and selling the company’s assets.

The Successful candidate will have music industry experience and be a confident communicator, with a proven network of brand contacts across various industries.

Key duties:

  • Expanding the team's network of relationships and generating new business leads
  • Identification of new business briefs - actively going out to source them as well as proactively going out to sell the company’s assets
  • Lead the junior members of the team in delivery of creative pitches and managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Work independently and initiate new business leads as well as collaborating with the wider team and staff

Key Skills / Experience:

  • Impressive background of working in New Business/Business Development role
  • Experience of working with or in the music industry, knowledge of dynamics of the music industry and record companies is highly desirable
  • Proven networker with an active book of brand contacts across various industries - FMCG, Tech, Entertainment, Banks etc.
  • Excellent negotiator with high level of commercial acumen
  • Experience in leading creative pitches and securing new business wins
  • Confident cold-calling as well as building on existing relationships
  • Proven ability to develop creative solutions in response to briefs using many assets of sponsorship, brand partnerships and creative content
  • Demonstrable ability of working with many stakeholders
  • Experience in creating multi-platform solutions and competence in overseeing a campaign through from concept to execution
