Clwb Ifor Bach are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their promotions team.
Based in Cardiff, the city centre live music and club space is widely regarded as one of
Wales’s most iconic venues with over 30 years experience of promoting and supporting
great music. This a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the future development and
direction of the venue and work in one of the UK’s most dynamic cities.
Working alongside others in the promotions team the successful candidate will be
expected to ensure a regular program of live events, both local and touring, and take an
active role in developing and marketing the venue’s regular club nights. You will be
involved in the booking and contracting of the artist/event and be expected to advance and
rep certain shows.
The successful applicant will need to be hardworking and organised and will be required to
possess the following attributes:
• Passionate about music and knowledgeable of current trends within the sector.
• Previous experience of promoting, advancing and repping successful events.
• Proven track record within the live music industry and established relationships with
others in the sector.
• Excellent organisational, administrative and budgetary skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and expected to work flexible hours,
including weekends and late nights.
• Salary will be based on experience.
