OVERVIEW OF ROLE

We are looking for an experienced UK Sales Account Manager. This role will be vital in driving sales revenues & profitability for Boiler Room in the UK.

Reporting into the UK Head of Sales, it will be your role to generate leads, solicit RFP’s, craft pitches & close deals amongst UK based agencies & brands direct.

You will possess truly exceptional sales, communication and analytical skills, plus will need to have a proven track record of delivering sales within a digital media organization.

Key responsibilities are:

• Maintaining and developing agency and client direct relationships in key brand sectors whilst developing briefs and business for the UK
• Delivering significant sales results based on UK targets
• Taking personal responsibility for all pitches and sales opportunities for your clients
• Creating tailored media and content focused proposals, that will add value to your clients’ businesses
• Working with senior colleagues when necessary or appropriate to understand client issues and take on appropriate elements
• You will have individual responsibility for new business, and are expected to self-manage; however, you will be part of a growing team of people and support is available from directors
• Account development through identifying new opportunities within existing clients, persuading clients to use our services and delivering excellent results at all times
• To be actively engaged in cross-promoting group-wide services
• Taking responsibility to ensure your clients are satisfied after each project
• Account management of jobs in their entirety
• Managing live projects in their entirety
• Represent Boiler Room at pitches with other colleagues and represent Boiler Room at events

Other:

• To undertake such other tasks including general administrative duties as may be required from time to time
• To be an ambassador for the business at all times

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Experienced sales professional, able to demonstrate success in growing revenue and profit
• Proven network within larger Agencies and Brands in the UK
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a management sales role
• First class networking skills, a self-starter who is able to work independently yet be part of a focused team
• Commercial nous, and negotiation skills
• Solid written/verbal communication & presentation skills
• Gravitas and exceptional management skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to work on his/her own initiative
• Willingness to work flexible hours and manage a heavy workload
• Must be fully experienced in writing amazing, highly visual pitches and presentations in Keynote
• Be proficient on all Apple Mac software
