Apple loses key Beats 1 exec

Apple has confirmed that Ian Rogers, a key exec for global radio service Beats 1, has left the company.

Rogers (pictured) was formerly CEO of Beats Music, joining Apple when the tech giant bought the music company just over a year ago for $3 billion. As senior director at Apple Music, Rogers led the development of Beats 1, including the hiring of former Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe.
