Meghan Trainor is first artist to breach Official Top 40 Singles Chart on streams alone

US singer Meghan Trainor has become the first artist to enter the Official Singles Chart Top 40 on streaming alone, after reaching No.33 yesterday (Sunday September 28).

All About That Bass had 1.17 million streams across services including Spotify, Deezer, Napster, O2 Tracks and more.

The ‘body-positive’ track is on sale from today (Monday 29) and has already topped charts back home in the States.
