'Pirate' domain registrars reject Police takedown requests

A City of London Police operation requesting the suspension of domains hosting infringing content is not being met with cooperation by a majority of domain registrars, according to reports.

A Freedom of Information request from TorrentFreak has revealed that only five domain name suspension requests have been granted since PIPCU's inception in 2013, with 70 others denied.
