Streaming platform Rdio has launched a free mobile radio service.

Rdio mobile users in Europe will be able to listen to pre-programmed stations for free without having to subscribe.

Listeners will have access to various genre-based, algorithmic and human curated stations, with the playlists pulled from Rdio's catalogue of over 30 million songs.

Several new features have also been added to Rdio, including Home, Browse and Favourites sections, allowing easier navigation through the app.
