Robbie Williams: 'I had to pay £1.5m to leave Take That'

Robbie Williams has claimed that he had to pay RCA £1.5m to release him from his Take That record contract after leaving in 1995.

The singer left when he was 19 years old and in a recent interview on BBC Radio 4's Mastertapes, said that he made around “a million or something” during his five years in the band.
