Spotify warns against 'radical differences' between labels' streaming payouts to artists

Spotify’s chief content officer and US MD Ken Parks has warned that “radically different” contracts between labels and artists when it comes to streaming payouts aren’t sustainable long term.

Speaking to Billboard in an interview, Parks said that streaming royalty payments to acts from one label to the next are “kind of all over the place” at the moment.
