Festival Republic is the UK’s leading festival and events promoter. We are looking for an experienced, energetic and self-motivated individual to coordinate the marketing and advertising needs of the Marketing Department in the London office for the company’s portfolio of festivals and events

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will assist in the coordination of the advertising campaigns and production of artwork for Latitude and Reading & Leeds festivals, V festival, EDC, Download and Wireless, amongst other festivals, working alongside the Advertising Coordinator and designs and closely with the Marketing, Press & Media Relations, Digital and Sponsorship teams.

Experience in a similar role within a similar field, with a good knowledge of the festival and music industry would be desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the festival market for each event through market analysis, customer profiling and competitor awareness
  • Assist in creation of advertising campaigns with media buyers, using a media mix of print and online advertising, radio campaigns, mail outs, e-shots, flyer and poster distribution, video content, website activity and social networking to be signed off by Marketing Manager, Promoters/Bookers and Managing Director
  • Responsible for updating the Marketing Manager, Promoters and other departments on advert deadlines for ongoing projects
  • Responsible for inputting advert bookings into central advertising schedule and ensuring this is regularly updated
  • Responsible for assisting in reporting on performance of adverts and marketing projects
  • Responsible for all artwork generation, sourcing designers and inspiration for designs
  • Based on brand guidelines and target market profiling, brief and direct designers on artwork for each advert, print and online format.
  • Work closely with the Design team to oversee their production of artwork for adverts across all festivals
  • Create innovative advertising materials and marketing concepts to engage with press, past and current purchasers and to discover new customers
  • Print production and coordination for flyers, posters, banners and all promotional materials
  • Monitor marketing and advertising practises within the industry and adapt to changes
  • Non-advertising artwork for tickets, maps, stage scrims, signage and screen visuals
  • Work closely with the Marketing/Sponsorship Teams to ensure all artwork/advert requirements agreed as part of partner/sponsor deals are met

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a number of projects at one time
  • Strong analysis skills of effectiveness of campaigns
  • An ideas person with a creative flair
  • A background in art / good eye for design
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English and an excellent command of grammar and spelling (for proof-reading)

  • Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and other creative packages
  • Knowledge and enthusiasm for UK festival markets and events
