General Summary
The role of Agent Assistant is crucial, having responsibility for creating and delivering key documentation to ensure a smooth process from show/tour confirmation to show/tour completion. The assistant helps to manage the main administrative process in delivering shows to the highest possible standard on time and without error. This role requires someone with immaculate attention to detail and a positive ‘can do’ attitude that they share with their team. They should pride themselves on high standard documentation delivery across the board.
Key Responsibilities
Liaison with artists, managers, promoters, business managers, accountants, tour and production management on all aspects of show/tour administration to incorporate the below and more.
Typical Duties to include, but not limited to the following:
- Producing schedules
- Tour announcement and on sale coordination
- Coordinating tour supports
- Artwork and press release approval
- Ticket figures
- Deal memos
- General marketing and press enquiries
- Tour announcement and on sale coordination
- Creating and issuing contracts
- Maintaining and updating of Artist date sheets
- Updating touring history records
- Issuing Certificates of Sponsorship for non-EU artists
- Issuing Promoter and Artist Terms of Business
- Chasing promoter deposits
- Problem solving
SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
The following are essential:
- Minimum 2 years previous music industry experience
- Must possess exemplary attention to detail
- Proven ability to adopt a self-motivated, methodical, problem solving approach to work
- Experience of managing simultaneous work streams confidently and calmly
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
- Absolute discretion - handling sensitive data and dealing with global level clients on a daily basis
- Confident, pro-active and positive attitude
- Knowledge of the ‘live’ side a big advantage
- Unflappable
Salary:
Up to £25,000 per annum, dependant on experience
