!K7 – ARTIST MANAGER ASSISTANT
!K7 Records is a multi-faceted music services and label group founded in 1985, with offices in London, New York and Berlin, and an international team of 26 music industry professionals.
Located in our London office, we are looking for a day to day Artist Manager Assistant to support our key artists.
Your duties will include:
- Liaison with live agents, promoters, tour managers, associated management companies and the artist’s schedule, promotion, travel, maintaining and distributing detailed artists schedule;
- Organizing artist’s own and relevant crew, band and personnel travel;
- Responding to clients personal requests;
- Assisting in the organisation of recording sessions, including obtaining quotes, negotiating prices, booking studios and making necessary travel arrangements. Producing and adhering to detailed budgets;
- Liaison with artist’s accountants and legal team;
- Liaison with Record label teams and managing artist approvals of media opportunities plus maintaining up-to-date press books across the roster;
- Assisting in the preparation of label copy and artwork for artist releases, checking and approving same with artists. Keeping to production deadlines;
- Organising and maintaining all filing and administration for artists i.e. press books, music archives, video archive, live performance footage, general correspondence files, diaries, promotion schedules and contacts;
- Organising merchandise for artists from initial design, manufacturing and distribution through to the reporting and accounting ;
- Overseeing artist's websites/socials and liaising with record label marketing teams and the artist regarding updates, campaigns, designs, etc.
The successful candidate will have:
- 1-2 years experience in an artist management or management assistant role
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills. An ability to react quickly and effectively to changing circumstances.
- A self-starter who is confident in working independently but also capable of forging strong relationships with clients and partners alike.
- A proactive attitude and professional approach towards building a strong business for our clients.
- Passion and commitment to strengthen and further development our artist management business.
