We are seeking to appoint a highly experienced, dynamic practitioner with a strong background in music education to lead the College’s BA (Hons) Music Journalism course. You will work be required to work closely with all departments within the College, and will report directly to the Head of Education.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the course, leading on curriculum design, curriculum delivery, and teaching and learning.
You will have a proven track record as a practitioner and educator, and have the breadth of skills and experience required to ensure quality and excellence in all aspects of the course.
The post of BA (Hons) Music Journalism Course Leader is a combined strategic and operational role that provides curriculum leadership for students and tutors. You will have the primary responsibility for setting the standard of excellence and professionalism in teaching on the course and ensuring that all members of your team support students in all aspects of their personal and professional development.
As well as being an inspirational teacher yourself, you will be required to monitor the day-to-day experience of students in the classroom ensuring the highest quality of teaching and learning at all times.
