Bleep, a specialist online music retailer, is looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard-working individual to join the team.


The Role

The assistant’s primary role is to support the content team, managing the addition of both music and editorial content to the store. Additional tasks include assistance with customer support, merchandising, developing features and liaising with freelancers and contractors who are creating content for the store.

Key to the role will be ensuring the smooth addition of content from our digital and physical suppliers into our systems and on to the front of the store. This will involve working closely with multiple parts of the business.


Skills

A successful candidate will be passionate and knowledgeable about a wide range of music. They must have a desire to be involved in music and online retail and see this role as a key part of developing their career in a related industry.

As this is a junior role, candidates should show a desire and aptitude to learn new skills. Accuracy and attention to detail alongside excellent numerical and literary skills are essential. Ideal candidates would have experience working with spreadsheets and knowledge of HTML and CSS. Any more advanced technology skills (SQL, XML, basic coding) would be useful, but are not essential.
