We’re looking for a Digital Supply Chain Coordinator to join the close-knit and rapidly growing AWAL team supporting the Digital Supply Chain Managers in their day to day work. Your role will help ensure the trains run on time, acting as a key interface between the global business and our partners on release setup/rights issues and delivery of audio/video to a variety of platforms. You are an enthusiastic and flexible self-starter with a passion for digital, keen to develop your operational skill set in a fast-paced environment. Regular evening work as part of a team shift pattern will be required.

AWAL is the Recordings division of Kobalt, and provides a range of marketing, distribution and other services to artists and labels, empowering recording owners whilst enabling them to retain ownership and control of their masters. AWAL works with more than 12,000 clients and our roster includes artists such as Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The Kooks, Laura Marling, Tom Misch, De La Soul, The Wombats, David Gray, Placebo and LAUV, and labels including Marathon Artists, Independiente, Mau5trap, Downtown, Wrasse and Chrysalis.

What would you do as a Coordinator, Digital Supply Chain?

  • Monitor & troubleshoot Digital Supply Chain performance, including issues with live products at digital services
  • Handle business requests for timed releases, instant grats, rights updates etc.
  • QC and schedule delivery of video releases to our digital partners
  • Manage claims/conflicts queues on YouTube
  • Set up pre-release content protection on key frontline titles
  • Contribute to departmental documentation and best practice guides 

You will ideally have

…experience in a Digital Supply Chain role

…familiarity with UGC platforms (YouTube/Facebook/SoundCloud)

…experience with video QC methods and encoding software

…working knowledge of music metadata in a digital distribution context, particularly the iTunes and Spotify style guides

…meticulous attention to detail

Bonus points for experience with Apple XML and DDEX ERN as well as being YouTube Certified!

SPECIFICS

  • Based at River Building, Cannon Street, London EC4R 3TE
  • Hours are 37.5 hours per week. Generally, these are taken between 9.30-6 with 1 hour for lunch but amendments to these hours can be agreed on a case by case basis with line manager approval
