Machine Management is looking for an experienced day-to-day Artist Manager to join the management team. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with minimum 2-3 years' experience to develop in this very busy and internationally focused role. Based in offices in East London, the position will be working primarily with 1 of the company's biggest talents, is very much a 24/7 role and will involve some travel. Candidates should have proven experience in the music industry (ideally in management), must be highly organised and have exceptional people/ communication skills. The job is full-on and requires someone with initiative who can think on their feet to solve any situation at short notice, is unfazed by a demanding environment and who always goes the extra mile, regardless of time of day or job spec. Outline of job description:

  • Complex diary management, travel planning, schedules and communication of all plans across teams.
  • All travel booking and co-ordination with ability to manage large scale last minute changes.
  • Communication across the team and occasional booking of stylists, grooming, crew and other personnel as required.
  • Budget management.
  • First point of contact - filtering invitations, requests and business proposals and replying/ forwarding accordingly.
  • Occasional event management - creating and running release parties, brand events, guestlists, aftershows etc.
  • Proactive maintenance and management of social networks and online presence for the company and artists.


Candidates must be/ have:

  • 2-3 years experience in music industry organisational role, ideally in management.
  • Reliable, discreet and trustworthy, enthusiastic and with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Very hardworking, thorough and efficient, extremely well organised.
  • Flexible to work and travel as needed with ability to respond to emails and calls beyond normal office hours.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with exceptional time management.
  • Ability to pre-empt decisions and foresee any issues to ensure smooth running of artist's life at all times.
  • Professional business manner, especially when travelling or representing artist - presented smartly, excellent phone manner, confident but appropriate with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good London/ international knowledge and cultural awareness.
  • Previous experience working with high profile individuals and languages (especially French and Italian) would be highly advantageous.
