Digital Content Assistant - Proper Music Distribution Ltd

 

Proper Music Distribution Ltd is now the largest truly independent, full service distributor of music on all formats in the UK.

Joining our digital department, the candidate will assist with all elements in the management and distribution of digital releases.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Collating all assets from Label Managers and Labels in timely fashion for encoding timeline
  • Setting up release specific requirements within Proper’s CMS
  • Uploading audio and video assets and metadata requirements with the Aggregator and Digital Service Providers
  • Fixing and updating any issues that may arise with the catalogue
  • Collating reports from Digital Retail using analytics tools from Spotify, ITunes for priority releases.
  • Help in collating data for monthly sales reports
  • Be point of contact for any ad hoc requests from labels in respect to digital sales enquires
  • Updating digital server with missing audio/artwork and new audio/artwork
  • Collation of Release Placements - Checking key stores on release week, saving all banners and placement on priority albums/singles in department database; forwarding all information on the relevant label manager or label
  • Creating and distributing promotional audio links to, digital team, labels and label managers
  • Updating and maintaining central digital schedule, distributing this internally to key personnel
  • Set up digital one-sheets - liaising with label management in collating all press release details and release promotional activity ready for external circulation.

Following requirements and experience needed from the candidate:

  • A strong interest in digital music platforms and technology.
  • Good administrative and organisation skills, particularly in use of Microsoft Office/Excel and content management systems.
  • Good eye for detail
  • Self-starter

Experience is preferred, but not essential. Interest in music is key.
