About the Role

The Email Marketing Co-Ordinator role focuses on helping our clients achieve more from their email marketing. This involves all aspects of email: copy, creative, segmentation, sign ups, management, optimisation, authoring tools, delivery platforms and the overall development of the value proposition for email as a channel.

Your responsibilities

  • Create email marketing campaigns that promote artists, gigs, tours, products through new announcements, pre-sales, event listings and unique call to action for the fan. Manage list segmentation for email marketing campaigns.
  • Work with external stakeholders to collect and create content to feature within the emails. This involves keeping up to date with each client and pushing the right content at the right time. Staying up to date with the analytics of your fan/consumer in order to segment products and services.
  • Manage the scheduling, testing, deployment of all email campaigns. Ensuring all analytics are applied correctly to facilitate accurate performance and monitoring. Regular hygiene tasks eg purging non-deliverable email addresses and opt-outs.
  • Regularly review campaign metrics in order to provide internal and external staff with performance analytics. Use statistical analysis turning data into actionable steps for overall campaign improvement.
  • Staying on top of trends and best practices in email marketing to ensure campaigns are as effective and efficient.
  • Being organised and having good project management skills in order to manage your own workload and be able liaise with the client but also manage projects from conception stage through to deployment.
  • Developing and growing accounts and opportunities with current and prospective clients
  • Advising on email marketing best practice.
  • Writing copy, coming up with ideas, generally being can-do and upbeat
  • Start and run our own newsletter which needs to mix the best of music and digital!

Your Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience working with databases, data analysis, segmentation and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong copy writing and editing skills. Must have a love for the arts and music in particular.
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines.
  • Ability to adhere to fast-paced, high pressure mailing schedule over many accounts.
  • Familiarity with Mailchimp, and other major email sending platforms
  • Good HTML skills
  • Experience with third party testing software like Litmus
  • Knowledge of responsive design
  • Experienced with content management experience.
  • Experience using many email templates. Have the ability to take templates and edit artwork or content based on client requests.

Basic Photoshop skills
