We are an enthusiastic, new and upcoming Music PR company based in central London, looking for a new intern to work on a wide range of clients in the alternative music scene.
We work on national and regional, press and radio promotion for a large number of clients from all over the world.
We are looking for an experienced press officer to assist and manage a number of press campaigns promoting singles, albums and music events.
The role will involve writing press releases, securing exclusive features (online and offline), delivering solid numbers of hits on music and video links (online) and a large number of results for each artist at the end of the campaign.
Our artists range from rock, indie, alternative, pop and electronic. We work with a large number of labels, both majors and independents from all over the world.
Occasional trips into our office in central London will be required however the majority of the work can be performed will be from home.

Expected:
Music PR Experience (IMPORTANT)
Current relationships with UK+ international journalists and bloggers (IMPORTANT)
Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal.
Proficient at using Microsoft office programs WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK.
Good understanding of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud, Youtube, Instagram)
Creative and the ability to use initiative and meet own deadlines
High level of attention to details (IMPORTANT)
Good research and Internet skills
Be able to work from home and come into the office occasionally.
A key understanding of the Hype Machine is critical.
Desirable:
Proficient with Adobe Photoshop
