An opportunity has arisen for a General Manager for one of London's most multi-functional venue spaces. We are looking for a candidate that demonstrates good leadership, interpersonal and motivational skills. We are an expanding operation and are looking for a suitable candidate to assist in the growth of the business.
The role will invlove the overall management of the venue including sales and operations. Experience of managing a venue would be beneficial but is not essential.
Duites to include:
Leading the sales team in marketing and selling the venue and growing the business.
Ensure sales process is being followed by the team and regularly discussing pipelines and setting targets.
Oversee operational procedures (general housekeeping and health and safety) and contiunally seeking to improve procedures and quality of service.
Managing a team of people on a daily basis and undertaking performance appraisals , on-going training and development and managing staff rotas.
Reviewing financial statements , sales and activity reports and other perofrmance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and programme improvement.
There will be accoutability to the Directors via regular meetings to ensure their overall targets and objectives are being met.
