This resource covers the public relations, press management and public affairs for the Ticketmaster International business supporting the PR Director with the international markets and resale business. 
 
The role will manage the International press office, delivering high quality press materials both proactively and reactively, also managing the press office function for TicketWeb, GET ME IN!, Seatwave and supporting the further 16 markets that sit under Ticketmaster International.
 
Responsibilities
 
First point of contact for PR enquiries for Ticketmaster, TicketWeb and Ticketmaster Resale 
  • Manage an efficient, informative press office
  • Ensuring that journalist enquiries are responded to swiftly and as fully as possible
  • Managing approval process for all press materials
Develop and maintain an effective PR strategy 
  • Working with the International and UK business to establish key drivers for each year
  • Producing a PR strategy that is in line with the wider business strategy
  • Ensuring all departments have a voice in this strategy and are being serviced correctly 
Monitor and circulate daily news updates for the UK business 
  • Keeping key members of staff informed about breaking news stories and cuttings that mention relevant aspects of the business 
  • Managing the cuttings service and appropriate licenses
  • Managing subscriptions to key publications 
Assisting internal communications 
  • Helping to draft employee communications
  • Working with the wider team to produce content for employee newsletters 
Support Public Affairs strategy 
  • Assist with the production of materials to lobby government, such as briefing documents and outreach letters
Support key projects
  • Working with external agencies and stakeholders to support the business with its key projects
  • Manage corporate messaging and documentation
Provide a centralised role to ensure all corporate messaging is consistent
  • Be the main point of contact in the business for any communications
  • To ensure messaging is consistent across the business all copy and messaging should be checked and approvals sought where necessary
  • Support tmBlog by producing articles and liaising with relevant PRs
Support event management
  • Work across events that help to promote Ticketmaster to both clients and other key stakeholders
  • General Admin
Job Requirements

Skills / Knowledge / Experience  

  • PR professional with minimum 3+ years’ experience, preferably from agency background 
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • A good knowledge and understanding of the media and political landscapes 
  • Experience of working directly with consumer and trade press
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Experience of producing high quality press responses at short notice
  • Experience of managing spokespeople and interviews
  • Experience of working on the preparation and delivery of PR campaigns
  • Ability to draft press releases to specific guidelines, gather approval requirements and deliver within set timescales
  • Existing press contacts, particularly within live entertainment and technology, are desirable
  • Computer literate with excellent MS Office skills
  • An understanding of the live entertainment and/or ticketing industry
