We are currently recruiting for a Junior Account Manager to join this fast-paced & dynamic sales team. You will be expected to build business relationships with a selection of key UK retailers as well as direct international & UK export companies, delivering successful retail campaigns for both frontline & back catalogue product.
The successful candidate will also be expected to provide sales & marketing support to your customers, maximising sales through retail marketing channels and securing excellent in-store profile. You will also be required to provide reporting support to the business.
Reports to: Head of National Accounts
Key Responsibilities:
Develop business relationships with UK retail & digital partners
Deliver successful retail campaigns for both new release & back catalogue product
Maximise sales volume and profit through retail marketing channels, negotiation of effective pricing, campaigning and in store profile
Presenting sales info to tele-ordering team for independent stores
Account manager for all direct International & UK export (providing sales support and marketing support / sales campaigns in order to drive business)
Providing internal reports for use within the business (market reports, competitor reports, market share reports, retailer sales reports)
Experience and personal characteristics:
A proven track record of at least 1 year experience, working within the music industry or retail, preferably in a sales-led environment
Hard-working, enthusiastic, driven and passionate, with proven organisational skills
An ability to work to tight deadlines
A passion for and good knowledge of the dance, electronic, urban and pop market is preferred
Must be flexible and able to cope with a wide and varied workload, urgent deadlines and work fast under pressure, whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail
Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential
