  • Do you have a passion for cutting edge electronic music?
  • Can you identify potential in an unsigned artist and launch them into a commercially viable and scalable career?
  • Can you manage a product from the initial A&R stage right through to release and post-release promotion?
  • And do so while continuing to nurture and develop our current repertoire across our in-house brands and numerous partner labels?
  • Are you looking to take your career to a whole new level and represent one of the leading media companies in bass music?

If it's a confident 'yes' to all of these questions, read on...

The Role:
Old Street, London: AEI Media Ltd require an enterprising, entrepreneurial label manager to take control of our existing label roster and artist repertoire and develop our expanding influence and strong presence within the recorded music industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for our growing base of in-house and JV labels. We expect you to be able to make confident decisions while maintaining implicit accountability and budgetary responsibilities of all stages of each release.

This is a unique opportunity with considerable potential. Our label portfolio operates autonomously from our existing brand network but is able, where appropriate, to tap into the huge media reach that our brands, and their associated events and compilations, offer in order to maximise success for our artists.

You will be expected to contribute your own ideas and actions for added efficiency, development and profit. In return you will enjoy creative control to manage and develop them and build successful artist careers. Pro-active decision making and full responsibility is expected from day one.

You:
The successful candidate will have a border-line encyclopedic knowledge of bass music and club culture. You will have an innate understanding of budgets, at least three years experience within the music industry or similar environment and not be afraid to make your own impression on the role. This includes revising existing processes, when appropriate, and employing new processes to create an even more effective commercial system. As a key representative of AEI Media Ltd you will have impeccable communication skills and know when decisions and matters need to be elevated to a directorial level. Above all you must be enthusiastic, have a genuine passion for the music and be able to identify music and product trends before your contemporaries.

Us:
AEI Media Ltd enjoys an influential presence across multi-platforms from live international events to digital media through to recorded music. A unique new music company, we have a glowing reputation within the electronic music industry and have a track-record of successes including chart-topping releases, key artist development and new media strategies. While we're professional and hard-working, we are proud of our relaxed and progressive working environment and staff benefits we are able to offer.
