The Label Relations Coordinator handles day-to-day account management for some major and independent record labels, as well as other content partners, and manages recurring marketing programmes for EMEA.

The kind of person we’re looking for…

  • Create and source exciting new content and marketing opportunities and drive Rdio awareness through custom campaigns around priority releases and artists.
  • Obtain clearance to leverage label assets for Rdio brand marketing and advertising purposes.
  • Keep label partners informed of product and territory growth.
  • Promote the Rdio brand within the music industry.
  • Maintain a collaborative and positive working relationship with content partners.

The kind of stuff you’ll be doing…

  • Identify and share weekly content priorities from key partners.
  • Curate and solicit content (playlists, artwork, artist availability) for marketing campaigns as needed.
  • Manage and curate branded profiles in several countries, surfacing priority content to users.
  • Manage, track and communicate campaign results.
  • Create all label reporting for custom marketing campaigns
  • Work with internal teams to address any delivery, ingestion and content availability issues.
  • Coordinate assets and clearances with Rdio Marketing for various brand campaigns and product launches.
  • Maintain active understanding of Rdio’s marketing programs and educate Content Partners on available opportunities.
  • Continually suggest and create new opportunities for content partners to surface priorities within Rdio and its touch points.
  • Solicit missing catalogue from existing partners as needed.

 The kind of experience we expect and look for…

  • 2+ years in the music industry, preferably at a label or distributor;
  • Excellent knowledge of the music industry and current market
  • Must be highly organized, reliable and detail oriented
  • Must have a good music knowledge across genres, catalogue and new artists
  • Tech-savvy; previous start-up experience preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Keynote
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships in the music industry
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly growing and changing business
  • Additional language skills preferred
