Handle Recruitment are searching for an experienced Music Licensing Executive for this major music publisher based in West London.
Working alongside senior members of the team, you will provide administrative support and assist with the licensing and approval process required for clearing synch uses across all media including DVD, corporate, online, games, film, TV and advertising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as point of contact for the department
- Review and manage new license applications
- Process licenses and invoices where required
- Ensure payments are received on a timely basis and chase payment of invoices where required
- Maintain database of contact details for all clients, update and amend as necessary
- Setup meetings and take minutes
- Manage budgets
- Support the Senior Licensing Manager and Film & TV department with ad-hoc projects and administrative duties
Essential Skills and experience:
- Music licensing experience within a publishing company or record label
- Previous experience of clearance and negotiation
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under own initiative, prioritise and meet deadlines
- Flexible, quick to learn and able to prioritise own workload
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Good organisation and communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
