Faber Social is a publishing and events based business working specifically in the areas where quality literature and music overlap. Recent and ongoing projects have involved Jarvis Cocker, Nicky Wire, Andrew Weatherall, Beck, Bonnie Prince Billy and Simon Reynolds.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic and entrepreneurial Manager of the Faber Social.
This key position will be responsible for creating a successful and profitable events programme for the Faber Social. This will include attending and running all the Social events, partnerships with key festivals and brands, as well as researching new ideas for ambitious events across the Faber list and elsewhere.
Working as part of the Faber Social Team and closely with the Marketing Manager for the Social, the role will also be responsible for arranging the publicity and media for the Faber Social titles.
As well as being energetic, highly organised, with the ability to handle big names and deliver major campaigns, the ideal candidate will have vision for the Social and will be able to manage and deliver a budget and business plan. Experience of events management and/or publicity is essential.
