About the role:

Printworks London (formerly Harmsworth Quays) was established in the Docklands in 1989, and for 24 years The Evening Standard, The Daily Mail and Metro newspapers rolled off its presses. The unique site has now embraced a new lease of life, in which the former factory’s warehouses and magnificent Press Halls have been revived as ground-breaking, multi-purpose event spaces.

There is now a very exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious Marketing Assistant to join Broadwick Live's Venues team at Printworks London and play a pivotal role in the running of this very prestigious and high-profile music venue. Reporting to the Head of Development – Broadwick Venues, you will look after the delivery of marketing plans and work closely with the Marketing Executive to drive and increase ticket sales, brand awareness and positive association. You’ll be co-ordinating marketing activities with various internal and external departments such as business development, sales, design, PR, operations, talent and senior management. You’ll need to be passionate about music, music events and festivals.

 

 

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Helping to deliver all phases of our marketing communications plan
  • Producing regular sales reports to monitor sales
  • Writing blogs and copy for marketing material
  • Overseeing our email databases, creating and deploying emails
  • Working to budgets provided
  • Responding to customer queries
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns success and feedback results
  • Undertaking continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
  • Meeting marketing objectives and best practices
  • Helping to identify content marketing opportunities
  • Working with PR, Videographers and Photographers on site at the venue
  • Artwork briefing for digital and physical content
  • Undertaking any other duties as directed

Content Management:

  • Writing copy for external output, promotion and the website
  • Print advertising content and liaising with any agencies or workloads involving creating content 

Website Management:

  • Monitoring web performance
  • Working with team to produce content for the website
  • Updating and making website amends and maintaining performance

You’ll need to be:

  • Confident using Microsoft Office
  • A creative thinker
  • Someone who has a love of music and live events
  • Likeable, dedicated, unconventional, with a thirst for getting stuck in
  • Organised, structured and calm
  • Excellent at written English 
  • Numerate
  • Driven to learn new skills
  • Intellectually curious with an analytical and process-oriented mind-set
  • An excellent communicator with great presentation skills
