Salary: £30k to £35k (plus bonus) per annum, dependent on experience


Green Man wishes to appoint a Marketing Manager to join our friendly team, who will create and implement marketing campaigns for the festival as well as other Green Man events and experiences. Green Man is one of the Europe’s leading independent contemporary music, science and arts festivals, which also undertakes social and charitable projects. For more information please go to

We are looking for an ambitious marketing/sales/PR manager who as a senior member of the team will build and add to the success of the Green Man brand creatively and strategically.

Essential Skills Required include:

  • Experience of advertising in digital, print and billboard media
  • Proven ability to create and deliver successful campaigns appropriate to this role
  • Editorial and creative writing skills
  • Experience of production design and illustration
  • Excellent social, communication, networking and negotiating skills
  • Interest in contemporary music, live entertainment, culture and media


  • Design and deliver creative and distinctive marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Management of the company’s online presence and campaigns
    Recruit and manage the marketing team
  • Create and implement systems to track and monitor marketing effectiveness
  • Update the Board of Directors verbally and through reports
  • Ensure all campaigns are agreed and signed off by the Board of Directors
  • Manage and develop relationships with partners and suppliers
  • Negotiate and monitor fees and services within budget allocations
  • Work within budgets and company financial systems
  • Create and update a style guide for all projects
  • Ensure the Green Man brand voice and objectives are integral to all marketing and promotion
  • Oversee creative content production for marketing campaigns
  • Ensure creative content is used to create best impact
  • Catalogue and store creative content
  • Write and edit copy as required
  • Research new media platforms and methods, which could aid promotion
  • Manage email communication from attendees
  • Oversee program production, delivery and circulation to outlets
  • Manage PR agencies, press tickets and press access
  • Set up press and media areas at events and act as the main point of contact to media/press 
  • Ensure permissions, or legal restrictions are adhered to in relation to the protection of Green Man assets or content used by the company.
