Reporting to: Senior Account Manager and Senior Account Director
Location: Essentially - London
Purpose:

  • To work with the Senior Account Director and a wider account team to deliver activations, partnerships and sponsorships in music and entertainment
  • To join a growing and productive Client Services Team and prove yourself to be a valuable and reliable member of staff

 

Key Responsibilities:

Client / Account Management

  • Develop a good understanding and ensure delivery of all client obligations and rights
  • Forward planning to anticipate problems / issues and set in place proactive resolutions
  • Managing Account Executive and team where necessary on each account
  • Fully understands client strategy and brand, market and key competitors
  • Develop and maintain positive realtionships with clients
  • Can run regular project and status meetings with clients (and suppliers where relevant)

Music Marketing Skill Development

  • Ceate an efficient working environment with all relevant suppliers
  • Delegate work, both to Account Executives and upwards where necessary
  • Comprehensive knowledge of music industry and good industry contacts
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of market trends for client's business

Self & Team Management

  • This role demands a comprehensive, professional capability, excellent interpersonal skills, drive and fantastic organisational skills
  • Establish regular reporting procedures to track delivery
  • Take appropriate actions to resolve any unforeseen issues as they arise
  • Suggest new ways of executing existing operations to enhance future activity
  • To trouble-shoot, and suggest improvements to aspects of the business where further efficiencies can be derived
  • Presentation skills (both writing and delivery), internally and to clients / suppliers including use of Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Upwardly manage communication and information flow to line manager and downwardly manage communication and information to account executive
  • Efficient meeting management and preparation and write up of notes and actions
  • Project management, budget management and event management skills where necessary
  • Develop personal impact / credibility by behaving in a confident and natural manner

Agency Profile:

  • To build strong relationships and to foster good team spirit internally and amongst client teams
  • Escalate issues and take responsibility for decisions as appropriate
  • Financial control of account - payment schedule, po's, supplier management
  • Manage internal brainstorms and meetings
  • Draw upon experience from across the Agency, where relevant, to optimise quality of work provided on the account
