We’re on the hunt for a PR Manager / Communications Specialist who has the drive to own our PR strategy, the network to waste no time and the experience to drive DICE forwards.

Responsibilities

  • Build an effective, credible communications plan across the UK
  • Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies
  • Establish the DICE brand and profile with the media and third parties.
  • Work to tell our story in creative, inspiring ways that resonate with journalists
  • Liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations
  • Ensure press is a key awareness driver
  • Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
  • Collating and analysing media coverage
  • Organising events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours
  • Sourcing and managing speaking opportunities
  • Managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation
  • Run the press office inbox and processes
  • Build a network with leading consumer, music and tech publications directly telling the story of DICE.
  • Produce compelling reports

REQUIREMENTS

  • You have the ability to distill ideas into simple and credible stories.
  • You’ll need to write well and have the creative ability to tell stories about our product, people and mission in the DICE tone of voice
  • You have a strong network across the media landscape
  • Experienced at media monitoring - knowing when to flag media coverage and what to do as a follow up
  • Understands the 24/7 news cycle and press office requirements
  • A strong campaigner who can fight for our missions.
  • A self-starting attitude: ready to create an impact without needing to be told.
  • A real teammate: This role will require strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • Willing to learn what you don’t already know.
