Job description & overview

 Working within the Music Team out of our London office and reporting to the Head Of A&R, the Product and A&R Manager will help champion artist campaigns at ANW and the discovery of new talent through our Undiscovered platform whilst also working with the Head of A&R to develop Audio Network’s commercial release strategy. The role will also be responsible for handling A&R submissions and related administration.

 Responsibilities

  • Championing artist and composer campaigns within the company and working with the sales and marketing teams to develop meaningful and effective strategies for marketing new releases to clients
  • Work with Head of A&R to position ANW as the no. 1 destination for the brightest new artist talent
  • Developing and managing relationships with artists, producers and artist management
  • Manage all Audio Network B2C commercial releases
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure successful implementation of distribution to streaming platforms and marketing and promotional campaigns
  • Controlling budgets, setting release campaign KPI’s and preparing reports on album / artist performance
  • Managing the unsolicited submissions process and identifying A&R leads to share with wider group
  • Organising and documenting all A&R meetings and artist / composer planning meetings.
  • Regularly attending gigs, showcases and all relevant new music / A&R events and conferences when required. International travel may be necessary from time to time.

 Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven success in a similar role at either a record label, music publisher or similar
  • Commercial awareness of the market, new music trends, music business developments, products and challenges
  • Should be immersed in the A&R community and have a contact base that reflects this
  • An understanding of media music and the use of music in film, television and advertising
  • An awareness of music and media trends in the online / digital landscape
  • Ability to effectively plan, run and manage international commercial release campaigns
  • An obvious passion for music and exemplary critical listening skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to thrive in a team
  • Excellent organisational skills, time management and an ability to prioritise tasks
  • Calm and methodical approach to work in a sometimes pressurised environment
