Cooking Vinyl are looking for a new Production Manager to manage it's busy UK & International manufacturing and digital delivery requirements.
A minimum of 1 years experience is necessary for this role.
- Liaising with marketing manager, UK distributor, international manager and international licensees
- Working to strict production schedules for UK and International releases
- Booking (and occasionally attending) mastering sessions; ordering the appropriate production masters and getting them to manufacture/digital distribution
- Approving a/w work pdfs, wet proofs, test pressings, test dvds, test blu rays in consultation with management/artist
- Design and manufacture promo CDs
- Deciding on packaging concepts; sourcing non-standard material
- Working with designers; briefing designers; ensuring all design work is done to specifications; checking and approving artwork
- Updating the Cooking Vinyl catalogue and generating catalogue numbers and barcodes
- Assigning ISRC codes and maintaining the ISRC database
- Compiling all the necessary info to write label copy/ product sheets
- Responsible for maintaining and sending out the weekly Cooking Vinyl Release Schedule
- Archiving all physical and digital assets
- Gathering orders from UK and international territories; ordering of all stock and parts; overseeing replication, fulfillment and delivery of product
- Maintaining a spreadsheet of all orders
- International production: dealing with international licensees and supplying them with parts (audio and artwork masters, printed parts etc.) and approving artwork amendments
- Developing a relationship with manufacturers and working with them to get the best price and service.
- Overseeing all financial aspects of production: invoicing licensees for production and printed parts; gaining quotes; raising purchase orders, approving invoices and disputing when necessary; liaising with the accounts department; costings
