A well-known independent record label are looking for a Promotions Director to oversee all radio and video promotion activity for artists within the UK and Europe. This is a great opportunity for an outstanding radio promoter to represent a successful and diverse roster across a variety of musical genres.
Main Duties:
· Direct and manage radio and video promotion efforts across UK and Continental Europe
· Oversee television promotion team in UK when needed
· Search for, hire, and direct regional radio promotion teams in UK
· Search for, hire, and direct primary radio teams across Europe when needed
· Liaise regularly with all independent promotion teams regarding radio/video strategy and needs
· Manage radio and video tracking in the territory and liaise with appropriate trade outlets
Desired Qualities:
· Must be able to work within a team environment and collaboratively create strategy
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Ability to motivate independent contractors and solve problems
· Solid background in content promotion to national radio outlets within the UK
· Proven experience in a similar role within the music industry
