ABRSM isproud to be the world's leading provider of music learning and assessment services. Every year, over 600,000 musicians take one of our exams, in over 90 countries. We are also one of the world’s leading music publishers, with an extensive catalogue of over 1,200 titles. Our world-renowned books are designed not only to support our assessments but also to provide musicians of all abilities and instruments with traditional and contemporary repertoire to enjoy as they embed new skills.

We are looking for a Publications Sales Manager to join our busy Sales team, working across all areas of our award-winning publishing list. You will play a lead role in selling our publications to retailers globally, including management of some of our most valuable key accounts in the UK and South East Asia. You will take a consultative selling approach, building strong relationships with existing customers while also seeking new business opportunities. You will also be responsible for sales of book and audio content through our online channels.

You will be responsible for developing an annual sales plan for both core exam product and our wider repertoire books, working to achieve targets in your agreed territories. We are looking for someone who will also play an important role in delivering market feedback and shaping future product development.

The role would suit a self-motivated person with a proven track record in sales, ideally within the music publishing sector. You will have a strong commercial background with demonstrable financial acumen, including confidence in sales forecasting and analysis. The role comes with the opportunity for some international travel.

Based in our impressive new headquarters close to the Barbican, you will be part of a thriving Commercial team, which is responsible for all sales and marketing activity globally. You will be joining ABRSM at a time of exciting change, as our digital transformation programme creates new services that will transform our relationship with teachers and learners; this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious publishing professional to make a real impact on a world leading and highly respected organisation.
