What you’ll be doing…
The Marketing and PR team is recruiting for a self-motivated and creative Senior PR Officer to lead on all PR campaigns for PPL. This role will create and execute strategic and creative media campaigns, exploiting all opportunities to promote PPL.
The successful candidate will liaise with a variety of internal stakeholders across the business and will need to build effective relationships. Our external stakeholders include our thousands of members, licensee customers, media, politicians as well as other CMOs and music industry trade associations. You will be expected to proactively develop and enhance relationships with our print and broadcast contacts as well as briefing and managing the external PR agency.
What you’ll need…
Ideally we are looking for an experienced Senior PR Officer with 5 years+ experience in solid PR preferably gained within the music industry. You will be experienced in planning and implementing a range of communication materials. Ideally you will have contacts in the music and media industry as you will be pitching to journalists creating targeted PR angles. Candidates should have a proven track record of securing high profile media coverage. It is also essential that candidates possess a level of gravitas that will enable them to work with the Chief Executive Officer and the Executive team.
