An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the Tour accounting division of Live Nation Concerts. The main purpose of the role is to provide business support to the Promoters for their events which range from club nights to multi date arena tours, stadiums and outdoor shows throughout the UK and Europe.

The role will work directly with Promoters and their Assistants and also the wider LN Finance department throughout the show costing / budget and forecasting stages, including assisting with cashflow estimates, reviewing contracts, ascertaining foreign currency requirements across tours and also providing reconciliation support post event. 

Strong interpersonal skills are required, as the role will work closely with cross functional departments including marketing / ticketing / production and show reps. There will be instances whereby some tours require the presence of the Tour Accountant on site for settlement with Artist Management / Agents and therefore an element of travel is required across UK and Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of full profit and loss account for tours from contractual stages to finalisation of account and obtaining Promoter signoff approval.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of tour reporting in all aspects including providing appropriate support for tour settlements across:
  • Ticket revenue
  • Marketing, PR and promotional spend
  • Venue costs and obtaining settlements
  • Tour floats
  • Payments including obtaining purchase orders, approving payments of show invoices as appropriate
  • Facilitating Artist deposit and balance payments.

Job Requirements

Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in concert promotions, event management or music venue management
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Knowledge of and accounting for FEU an advantage
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressured environment when required
  • Ability to self-motivate and work as part of a team and liaise with cross functional departments
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Qualification in Accounting or Business Management is desirable
  • Positive attitude
