Full-time Web / UX Designer £28,000 - £35,000

We are looking for a creative web designer with strong user-experience focus to work on the evolution of our site and its related apps and services.

It's important that you have an in-depth knowledge of user-experience principles and are as happy analysing user research (quantitative and qualitative) as producing designs from conception to implementation.

You would also share responsibility for Ents24's branding, working with stakeholders to help ensure we are producing compelling communications across various types of media (email / print / web).

The successful applicant will be comfortable working alongside developers on our large codebase to implement and edit HTML and CSS.

We are a data driven company and we regularly conduct A/B tests to see the impact of design changes made to the site. As UX Designer at Ents24, you will be setting up these tests and analysing the results.

Skill Requirements:

  • Able to conceptualise, design and implement user-focused design solutions
  • High level Adobe design suite skills
  • Wireframing and prototyping tools ( We use Moqups & InVision )
  • Experience working with developers on dynamic, public-facing e-commerce sites
  • User research skills: Google Analytics / Surveys / Remote user testing / Interpreting feedback from various sources
  • Strategy and planning skills: able to help prioritise projects and turn them into actionable steps 
  • Advanced HTML and CSS knowledge, preferably with SASS
  • HTML email design and implementation
  • Strong grasp of designing for multiple devices, from mobile to tablet to desktop
  • Communicate ideas to developers and stakeholders
  • Strong typography, particularly readability on the web 
  • Good written and verbal communication

You

  • Hold a relevant degree and have at least 3 years experience in a commercial web environment
  • Are an expert in web design and UX
  • Have worked with developers on dynamic, public facing e-commerce web sites
  • Are interested in live entertainment in its many forms 
  • Work well with a team to interpret needs of the business
  • Are able to handle change-requests and critiques
