SJM Concerts are at the forefront of the Live UK Music market. We promote the biggest UK acts and many world leaders in the concert industry. SJM offer exclusive VIP ticket packages across many of our major tours for artists such as Take That, One Direction, Little Mix & Coldplay which over the last year has amounted to over 60,000 packages.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual to successfully manage and develop our VIP department. Whilst creating bespoke packages and provisional budgets to be presented to both existing and prospective clients, this will also be an opportunity for the individual to proactively progress and enthusiastically improve the VIP experience through exciting and innovative ideas.
The Role:
VIP Manager / Co-Ordinator
- Creation, administration and budgeting of VIP package content
- Overseeing the management of the VIP website www.sjm-vip.com
- Managing and allocating suitable VIP hosts to each tour
- Arranging accommodation, transport & finances for VIP hosts
- Liaising with artist agents and suppliers to source VIP package merchandise, photos and artwork
- Ensuring all merchandise costs are accounted for and invoiced
- Liaising with the venues regarding staffing requirements, package content, numbers of VIPs expected, costs and locations
- Liaising with tour managers and production staff to agree final timings for any meet & greets, photo ops or early entry and ensuring the tour manager is happy with the package requirements
- Finalising package content times and any photo op download codes with ticket agents and customers
- Managing all VIP package settlements and finances both before, during and after the tour
- Primarily based from the SJM office in Manchester, attendance on site is required on the first day of major tours to oversee and manage the delivery and smooth running of the VIP package, and to ensure all parties involved are satisfied.
Skills / Experience Required
- Previous event management experience essential
- Previous experience of delivering VIP packages desirable
- Excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Office & Excel
- Excellent numeracy skills and the ability to create and manage invoices and financial settlements
- Professional manner in line with artist & customer expectations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
- Ability to manage a team of on the road staff
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload
- An intelligent and committed approach to work
- Reliable and trustworthy
- A naturally helpful, outgoing and approachable personality
- Driving license desirable
