5 Seconds Of Summer debut album lands at No.1 in US

Australian pop-rock band 5 Seconds of Summer’s self-titled album has debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200, selling over 253,000 copies.

The Capitol-released record becomes the biggest new artist debut of 2014 and the biggest debut by an Australian artist ever in the Soundscan era, beating the act’s She Looks So Perfect EP, which sold 143,000 copies when it was released in April.
