Universal Music and ESL’s joint venture label have signed their first act.
The major, who founded Enter Records with the e sports company two months ago, have agreed a deal for electronic artist TheFatRat.
Enter Records was established to target the gaming community and their creatives and the German producer fits the bill having recently released a music pack for multiplayer game Dota2 music pack.
"The opportunity that Enter Records gives musicians like me to build a community and grow broader audience is amazing, said TheFatRat, real name Christian Buttner of the deal.
“I’m signing to Enter Records, as I believe in the idea of the platform and how music and gaming belong together.”
TheFatRat’s The Chosen One will be released by Enter Records soon.
