Warner Bros. Records promotes three key execs

Warner Bros. Records (WBR) has strengthened its senior management team through the promotion of three key executives.   

Peter Gray (pictured) rises to general manager and EVP, promotion & media, Larry Mattera is elevated to general manager and EVP, commerce & marketing and CFO Hildi Snodgrass expands her role to include EVP, operations. Gray and Mattera will oversee all marketing, promotion and revenue, while Snodgrass will spearhead business operations for the company.

All will continue to report to WBR chairman and CEO Cameron Strang and collaborate to forge the strategic direction of the company.  

“I am proud to promote three excellent executives from within Warner Bros.” said Strang. “Peter and Larry are going to drive the commercial part of our business. Hildi will quarterback business operations and Dan McCarroll will continue to lead the A&R team. These promotions streamline a number of major components of our business, enabling us to innovate and move faster as we continue to grow and invest heavily in A&R and artist development.”  

Most recently, Gray served as WBR’s EVP, head of radio promotion, while Mattera joined WBR in 2015 as EVP, commerce, digital marketing & strategy and Snodgrass has served as CFO of WBR for more than a decade.
