Bieber breaks silence on world tour cancellation

Justin Bieber has written a letter to his fans explaining the cancellation of his remaining Purpose world tour dates.

Having performed 150 shows in 40 countries, Bieber pulled the final 14 tour dates in Asia and North America last month due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

The singer has now broken his silence about the cancellation, penning a note to fans on Instagram saying: “Me taking this time right now is me saying I want to be SUSTAINABLE. I want my career to be sustainable but I also want my mind heart and soul to be sustainable.”

Bieber expressed a desire to learn from his past mistakes “so that I can be the man I want to be, the husband I eventually want to be and the father I want to be.”

Scooter Braun, Bieber’s manager, wrote on Instagram that the 23-year-old’s “soul and wellbeing” were a top priority.
